Postgraduate Open Day
Our next postgraduate Open Day is on Wednesday 6 September 2023. This is a face to face event that takes place on the main Coventry University campus and will be open between 4pm and 7pm.

Our courses are designed to meet the needs of industry today, with contemporary teaching and learning activities. We want to ensure that our qualifications will help you to steer your career in the right direction.
Support
A vibrant student community is at the heart of an outstanding student experience. Our postgraduate community exists to foster a vibrant and active environment and to help you during your time with us. Support services include health and wellbeing, academic and academic writing, mathematics and statistics and our online platform Vygo, which provides all our postgraduate students with access to online peer and mentoring support.
Courses
On most courses, we have intakes in September, January and May. With more than 140 taught courses across Coventry University and Coventry University London, as well as our 100 per cent online courses and two types of postgraduate research degrees (master’s by research and PhD), you’ll find something to inspire you.

There are many ways you can further your employability prospects and highlight your status in a crowded graduate job market. Employability is embedded throughout our courses, alongside:
*There are four Professional Development modules to choose from, each with the aim of developing your practical skills and attributes to a level increasingly demanded by employers across all business sectors. Successful completion of one of these mandatory modules could lead to a CMI professional qualification. You can use this later as an opportunity to work towards Chartered Manager status (highest award) via the qualified route once you meet other entry criteria.

Our students can benefit from access to industry-standard equipment and facilities in all academic disciplines, including hospital wards, design and engineering laboratories, performing arts studios and computing centres.
Accommodation
There’s a wide range of excellent accommodation on offer to you. We provide accommodation in Coventry and London, some specifically with postgraduate students in mind. You may have the opportunity to live in a postgraduate room in a building shared with undergraduates or live in a property that is specifically allocated for postgraduates.

There is a wide range of financial support available for postgraduate study, including loans, flexible payment options, discounts and scholarships.
Entry Requirements
The university considers a number of UK and international qualifications for entry to postgraduate courses, and assessment of qualifications are carried out by experienced admissions practitioners. As a general guide, the minimum entry requirement for a taught master’s course is the equivalent of a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or above. You’ll find specific entry requirement grades for each course on individual course pages.
