Student Support
Leeds Trinity offers personal and academic support for all students.  Our Learning Hub can offer you academic support and advice about how to manage your studies and prepare for assessments.

You can also receive guidance on funding your studies, navigating the cost of living, and managing your money.

Whether you study at our Main Campus in Horsforth or at our Leeds City Campus, a wide range of services will be available to you through the Student Support and Wellbeing team.

Additional support is available for those with disabilities or with dyslexia, and counsellors are available for any student struggling with their mental health or wellbeing.

 

Courses

We offer a wide range of postgraduate courses in Business, Computer Science, Construction and the Built Environment, Creative Writing, Criminology, Investigation and Policing, Children, Young People and Families, Education, Journalism, Law, Psychology and Health and Wellbeing.

Many of our courses can be studied on a part-time basis, giving you the opportunity to fit your studies around your other commitments.

Facilities

There are plenty of facilities across both of our campuses to help you achieve your goals during your time here, from group study areas to Media Loans, academic support to entrepreneurial opportunities. Whichever campus you study at, you have full access to the facilities available at both our Main Campus and Leeds City Campus.

Main Campus

Our Main Campus facilities include The Andrew Kean Learning Centre, home to social learning spaces, a café and IT facilities, making it your go-to base for studying on campus. Our business development hub will help you make your business idea a reality, where you can learn from our experts and network with local businesses. If you’re passionate about shaping a career in media, the Centre for Journalism provides the equipment and expertise you’ll need to hone your broadcast skills.

Our Main Campus is also home to the Media Centre, providing the latest media technology for all Leeds Trinity University students.

Alongside the library cafe, we’ve also got three other dedicated spaces on our Main Campus for eating and drinking, with each offering something a little different so you’re sure to find something to suit your tastebuds.

If you enjoy sports and keeping fit, our Main Campus is home to a sports centre which offers an extensive range of high-quality sports and fitness facilities.

Leeds City Campus
Our City Campus will provide a range of learning spaces, study spaces and specialist facilities for the programmes we run there, including a trading room, board room and business engagement centre, law court and custody suite, and specialist labs for our Computer Science and Construction and the Built Environment courses.

Students will also have access to a wide range of study and open learning spaces to support collaborative working. You’ll find a bespoke Library space located on the third floor of the City Campus. The Library will offer a range of great study facilities, including a study lounge, Group Study Rooms, and a silent study room for when you really need to concentrate.

The City Campus will have a dedicated café located on the ground floor. Whether you’re grabbing something to eat or want to take a break from your studies with a coffee, there’ll be a range of food and drink options on offer.

If studying in Leeds city centre, you’ll find several incredible eateries just minutes away from our City Campus including 92 Degrees coffee shop, located opposite our Leeds City Campus.

Accommodation
Accommodation is available for postgraduate students, ranging from modern flats with ensuite rooms to budget-friendly halls with shared facilities. We have accommodation available across two locations: at our Main Campus in Horsforth and in Leeds city centre.

Employability
Employability is at the heart of our ethos. Our lecturers are highly experienced in their fields and their industry knowledge informs their teaching.

Our Careers+ Placements team can also provide you with support and advice regarding your employability and the next steps after graduation. This includes:

Fees and Funding
Our fees vary depending on the course you have chosen to study. We also offer loans, scholarships, and other support packages which, if eligible, will help to relieve some financial burden.

Leeds Life
Our Main Campus in Horsforth is only a 12-minute train ride from Leeds city centre, where you’ll find a variety of nightlife, entertainment, and shops. If you’re studying at our Leeds City Campus, you’ll find yourself already immersed in the heart of the city centre, just a 5-minute walk from Leeds train station.

There’s a great live music scene in Leeds, with exciting venues, from the legendary Brudenell Social Club to the huge Leeds First Direct Arena. There’s also the annual Leeds Festival and Live at Leeds events to enjoy.

The food and drink scene in Leeds is constantly changing and exciting, and there are options for all tastebuds. There are great shopping choices in the city, too, from Europe’s largest indoor market and independent shops to Trinity Leeds shopping centre and the Victoria Quarter, which includes many big brand names.

Leeds is a hotbed of cultural offerings, including galleries and museums, urban festivals and carnivals, cinemas and theatres, art installations and historic landmarks. And if you want to get away from it all, there’s beautiful countryside and scenery just a few miles outside of the city centre.

Leeds Trinity University Campus
