Eligibility

The MastersCompare Postgraduate Scholarship is open to UK, EU and international students who are starting the first year of a Masters course in September or October 2020 at any UK university.

To be eligible for consideration of the MastersCompare Postgraduate Scholarship, a student:

  • must have an unconditional offer of a place on a part-time or full-time postgraduate programme
  • must have submitted the course application no later than 28th August 2020
  • must register to receive the MastersCompare email newsletter

You are not eligible to enter if you are continuing an existing Masters course.

To be eligible to win you must have enrolled, and be able to provide proof of enrolment, onto a Masters by the end of October 2020 at any UK university.

Closing Date

The closing date to register is Friday 28th August 2020, 5pm.

Terms of Scholarship

By applying for the Scholarship you agree to be provide comment for up to three articles on your experience of looking for and studying a Masters course, including your photograph, for internal and external promotion, including but not limited to websites, social media, advertising and events.

Allocation
The scholarship will be allocated at random during October 2020.

All reasonable attempts will be made to reach the selected winner via the email address provided with your application. If we cannot reach you by the given deadline, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer and select another entrant.

The Applicant awarded the scholarship will be required to provide proof of enrolment on a Masters course. This proof MUST show that you are fully enrolled onto a Masters at a UK university. If you are unable to provide proof of enrolment you will become ineligible to win, and another entrant will be selected in your place.

Applicants personal data will be used in accordance with data protection legislation in the UK.

The winner will be announced in the MastersCompare email newsletter.

Due to the vast amount of expected applications received, we are unable to contact unsuccessful applicants. If you have not been contacted by 31st October 2020 you have not been successful.

Withdrawal of scholarship
We reserve the right to withdraw a scholarship from anyone who is found to have misled ThinkPostgrad about any aspect of their eligibility and to seek payment for the full scholarship.

If a student changes to a programme of study outside those listed under the eligibility section above, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
