Programme Director Bhargavi Rao talks about the Health in Humanitarian Crises by Distance Learning programme delivered by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

The study of public health is very different in times of emergency vs times of more stable development and therefore our approach to improving health in fragile and crisis-affected communities must be approached differently too. Our online programme is developed by academics and practitioners in the field, focusses on real life examples of health in humanitarian crises and is designed to address the operational, programmatic and technical needs in times of emergency.
