You should have a good honours degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or equivalent and at least a year’s continuous employment in aviation, transport, travel or a closely related field. If you do not have these qualifications you will need:
a professional licence such as an Air Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL), Aircraft Maintenance Licence (Category A or B), or Air Traffic Controller License, and at least two years’ continuous employment in aviation, transport, travel or a closely related field
without a professional licence, your continuous professional experience should have lasted for ten years, with five at management level.
You must be classified as a UK student before starting this course.
