Course Description

Accredited by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) and the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted).

We’re looking for individuals with a passion and skillset for mathematics who want to help primary school children get enthusiastic about learning through maths. Our highly-rated PGCE course will give you the knowledge and skills to be an effective teacher, developing independent learning techniques and self-motivation that will be valuable throughout your career. We’ll help you gain a commitment to supporting all children’s mathematical development, with the ability to articulate, defend and amend your personal view of the role of maths in primary school.

Entry Requirements

Normally a first degree, or its equivalent with a minimum of 2:2 honours.
