Masters Degree Description
The course emphasises the four pillars of both physiotherapy and the NHS practice, working with acute patients, those managing long-term conditions and supporting preventative health. It aims to enhance your prior learning, preparing you for work in the UK and abroad.
- As a qualified physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to apply your previous learning and experience to expand your skill set and develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

On successful completion of this course, you can expect to be able to:
- develop a systematic understanding of the biopsychosocial model of health and disease, then integrate the principles of the biopsychosocial model and values-based healthcare into the assessment, treatment and management of clients with a range of common and complex problems
- demonstrate comprehensive theoretical knowledge and apply advanced assessment and treatment skills in physiotherapy practice, then articulate the process of clinical decision-making through effective clinical reasoning
