Masters Degree Description

Gain valuable practical experience on our postgraduate Applied Food Safety and Innovation degree. Develop your knowledge in operational food systems and food product innovation.

Learn practical skills by designing and developing new food products. Your products will be commercially relevant and conform to relevant regulations. Our course uses real-world case studies which will equip you with the food safety auditing skills needed for the workplace. You'll have the opportunity to gain professional experience through work-based placements.

This course is designed to cover both the research and development and food safety operational needs of the food industry. This bridges the gap between safe food production and product innovation.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of a lower second class (2:2) Honours Degree of a UK university or its equivalent in a relevant science or health-related subject
Applicants with substantial relevant experience will be considered. Those applicants seeking entry with appropriate experiences will be required to demonstrate the suitability of this experience both on application and at interview
IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5) or equivalent UKVI Secure English Language Test.
