The MArch Architecture at Bath Spa produces creative, reflective, and ethical graduates, able to design a better world. Anchored in practice-based learning, this course offers the opportunity to define your own learning paths and engage with complex issues as evidence-based designers.
Working in the award-winning Locksbrook Campus, you’ll be inspired to become creative, curious, and confident design practitioners.
At the heart of our postgraduate Architecture course is a focus on regenerative design for both people and planet. With a strong emphasis on making and materiality and collaborative design practice, this course is designed for those ready to deepen their practice.
Good bachelor’s degree (normally 2:2 and above) in Architecture or a similar discipline in the UK (United Kingdom) or internationally equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of work experience is strongly recommended and desirable (although not essential).
The MArch programme introduces you to cultures of making, collaborative and industry practice, and regenerative design processes to give you a robust foundation in architecture and design. You'll hone your expertise through specialisation and independent research, supported by industry partners and academic staff. This learning will give you the solid grounding needed to build careers in architecture and design.
