Course Description

Study our full-time 2 year audiology master’s with clinical placement and combine scientific learning with practical training. Our 3 year course offers a part-time clinical placement over 2 years. Gain the skills to work in clinical audiology. UK applicants who complete the course are eligible to register with The Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) and to work in the NHS as an audiologist. Our graduates from this degree have become leaders in the field both in the UK and abroad.

Entry Requirements

  • A UK bachelor’s degree with upper second-class honours (2:1) in a related discipline such as a physical, biological, life or behavioural science, or an engineering subject.

In your personal statement, you must show that you have:

  • excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • an interest in healthcare, science and learning
  • motivation and initiative
  • an understanding of the audiology profession
  • visited, or intend to visit, an audiology or related department

You must show evidence of your suitability for clinical work in audiology, including a statement explaining:

  • why you want to carry out a placement
  • why you are suitable for a placement

You will also be interviewed by a placement provider.
