Entry Requirements

The entrance requirement for this PGCert is a second-class honours degree (minimum 2:2 or higher) in a relevant discipline or demonstrated experience at an appropriate level.

A relevant discipline may be in any subject but must demonstrate core knowledge in sectors such as emergency management, civil protection, public policy, management, public service, natural hazards, geography, health and safety, risk, security, and business continuity.

Applications from those not possessing the equivalent of an honour’s degree, non-standard or non-cognate applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis reviewing work experience, academic background, and motivation.
