The Master of Research in Education Learning Sciences and Technologies is an innovative and research-led postgraduate degree in education with taught elements; uniquely designed to equip you with the expertise to investigate how people learn, and how digital tools and emerging technologies can transform educational practice. It’s grounded in research methodology, with particular focus on innovations in learning design, artificial intelligence, and data-driven education.
You will explore how learning theories, data-driven approaches, and educational technologies interact to shape learner experiences across schools, universities, workplaces, and informal settings. This pathway enables you to develop advanced research skills in learning sciences alongside transferable abilities highly valued by employers, such as data analysis, critical problem solving, ethical research practice, reflective learning, and the ability to community complex ideas effectively across disciplines.
An honours degree (at least 2:2 or equivalent) in education, social sciences, psychology, or related disciple. Applicants with professional experience in education, training, or related sectors who do not hold traditional academic qualifications may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
