Study Details: 12 months full-time; 24-36 months part‑time
Designed with the busy professional in mind, the Masters in Enhanced Practice in Education will provide you with the skills and confidence to make effective changes in your place of work. You will develop expertise to initiate and influence positive working relationships across your organisation and beyond.
2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in Education, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work OR 2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in any subject, with minimum 1 year experience working in an education, social, welfare, policy or 3rd sector role.
We may sometimes accept degrees at 2.2 Hons or non-UK equivalent.
Applicants should have experience working with children, young people or adult learners
We may also accept applicants with significant relevant work experience in addition to lower qualifications
On successful completion of the programme, you will have the knowledge, understanding and skills to progress into leadership roles within your organisation.
If you work directly with young people (teachers, social workers, youth workers, police officers, probation officers, health workers), this programme can be an important step in your professional development.
The programme will support your career development as a class teacher, lecturer, policy developer, special education professional, head teacher, education administrator or researcher. The programme provides a foundation for further academic study such as a professional doctorate.
