The MRes in Human Geography: Spaces, Politics, Ecologies engages at an advanced level with conceptual debates in human geography, with cutting edge methodological approaches and with the skills needed to communicate geographical ideas beyond the academy. The course will equip you with the knowledge and skills appropriate to undertake independent research in human geography. The research skills fostered and developed through the course can also be used in a range of different contexts such as the public sector, NGOs, trade unions and research consultancies.
2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in Economics, Politics, Sociology, Geography, Geographical Sciences, Anthropology, Urban Studies, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Law, History, Psychology, Education, Public Administration, Linguistics, with modules in Research Skills at an average grade of pass.
