The Masters in Geospatial Data Science & Modelling will equip you with specialist geospatial, analytical, programming and modelling skills that can be applied to data in a broad range of sectors. You will get hands-on experience and gain a practical understanding of geospatial statistics. Computationally and mathematically literate graduates with the ability to address geospatial problems are in increasing demand across industries.
2.2 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in a relevant field such as Geography, Earth or Environmental Science.
Any other subjects with relevant work experience
Entry without standard academic qualifications, or with technical qualifications in geomatics for those with significant practical experience in related employment, will be considered on an individual basis. Study of this program would consist a significant use of Computers and IT.
This programme will provide students with the knowledge and skills to work at the interface between computational modelling and geospatial professions. This includes areas such as GIS, environmental modelling, flood and landscape modelling, environmental engineering consulting and protection. The MSc will also prepare students for PhD study in a multitude of research fields.
