This programme approaches innovation, entrepreneurship and strategy from a systems perspective that will enhance your understanding of innovation strategies and the complex processes that interact to create innovation and entrepreneurial activity.
Innovation can provide solutions to some of the biggest global challenges we face today, such as artificial intelligence, poverty, climate change and public health. But the invention, commercialisation and diffusion of new technologies, products and processes is a complex process involving entrepreneurs, inventors, financiers, universities and local, national governments and well as international agencies such as the UN.
The programme will appeal to those seeking an understanding of how innovation systems operate within firms, regions, nations and the global economy. We will look at the factors that shape invention, the transformation of inventions into commercial products and processes and the diffusion of innovations.
The degree will also appeal to those working in business seeking how to catalyse and manage innovation as well as to those working in public policy and/or strategy with a view to enhancing innovation and sustainable growth. This programme has been designed for those seeking a career in the management of creativity, knowledge, innovation, strategy and policy.
