Please note, this course was previously named LLM SQE/Legal Practice.

The Legal Practice SQE 1 & SQE 2 is expertly designed if you want to qualify as a solicitor via the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) route whilst also gaining a Masters in Legal Practice. The programme provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to sit the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE1 and SQE2) and prepares you for life in the legal profession.

If you want to prepare for the SQEs and develop your wider employability skills then this is the course for you.

Delivered in partnership with BARBRI, an award-winning provider of professional legal education, you will study a mixture of online and in-person modules designed to prepare you for a career as a solicitor.

The programme is also supported by an extensive offering of extra-curricular activities including opportunities to gain work placements that will develop your employability skills and can contribute to the 2 years of Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) needed to qualify as a solicitor.

Entry Requirements

To join this programme, you will be expected to have:

  • A degree equivalent to a UK first-class or second-class honours (2:2 or above), in any discipline.
  • Relevant professional experience will also be considered.

All of these opportunities allow you to network with employers, gain real-world experience and develop your graduate attributes – the skills needed for employment.
