Masters Degree Description

You’re serious about your career and so are we. Our MSc Mechanical Engineering will equip you to think adventurously, overcome problems and be part of the process of enabling society to advance. You’ll test your practical skills in our industry-standard workshop.

You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of advanced design and analysis techniques, the use of modern materials and manufacturing technology. We’ll expand your knowledge in a wide range of mechanical engineering areas and related fields, giving you the scope to be creative and scientific in equal measure.

As well as our one-year full-time course, there’s the option to study with us for two years and gain valuable experience in Year 2, with a choice of professional experience modules. We also offer a two-year part-time course too.

Entry Requirements

Applicants will require an honours degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent subject at 2.2 or above from a recognised university. Those who do not possess an honours degree, but have a degree or degree equivalent qualification and/or work experience will be considered. qualifications from an approved professional body will also be taken into account. Applicants may be invited for interview.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
