Masters Degree Description

Become an effective public health practitioner with our Masters in Public Health Promotion. Explore established public health concepts and gain insight into new and emerging themes.

To make a positive contribution and impact to the way public health promotions, interventions and services are delivered across a variety of roles within statutory, voluntary, and independent sector organisations, we must consider the wider determinants of health and wellbeing.

This course is ideal for anyone working or wanting to work in areas that improve population health and health promotion. You could come from fields in Health and Social Care, Sport and Exercise Science, Nursing/Midwifery, and Public Health.

Entry Requirements

The minimum qualification for admission is one of the following:

A UK honours degree (2:2 or above)
An academic or professional qualification approved by senate – as equivalent in breadth and depth to a UK honours degree
International students will be required to demonstrate the University standard of English language at level 6.5 prior to commencement on a course. Those who do not meet this criterion will be advised to seek support from ALS English language programme prior to commencement of the course.
