A fast-track course allowing graduates from a non-construction related degree or existing quantity surveyors to become chartered surveyors, with additional work experience. Please be aware we are currently designing our postgraduate course structures, therefore there may be changes to this course for students starting in September 2025.
This MSc offers a direct route into quantity surveying for both graduates and professionals transitioning into the field. You’ll develop the core technical and professional skills required in the construction sector, supported by industry accreditation. The course prepares you for roles in private and public sector surveying firms, equipping you with expertise in cost control, procurement, and contract management.
For students on the Work Experience route, a year-long placement follows the Applied International Project module, with the Professional Industry Research module completed the following year. This extended industry experience enhances research skills and career prospects.
