Course Description

The MSc in Sustainable Engineering is designed for graduates who wish to deepen thorough knowledge of the subject through a one-year taught programme that culminates in a supervised, research-based dissertation.

With a growing world population, demands to meet the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and in recognition of the climate crisis affecting the planet, engineers have an increasing responsibility to be well-versed in issues concerning sustainability. This programme will provide you with the theoretical and practical knowledge to create and maintain a more sustainable world within your chosen area of engineering.

Entry Requirements

An upper second-class honours degree or international equivalent in an engieering or engineering-related subject, including computer science, maths, physics, technology/technological based subjects. We will consider applicants whose grades are slightly lower than the programme’s entry requirements, if they have at least one of the following:

  • evidence of significant, relevant work experience;
  • a relevant postgraduate qualification.

If this is the case, applicants should include their CV (curriculum vitae / résumé) when they apply, showing details of their relevant work experience and/or qualifications.
