Research is carried out in individual research groups, but teams are often organised to address new topics in organic, inorganic, physical and theoretical chemistry and to bring together the strengths spanning several disciplines, thus opening up exciting possibilities for interdisciplinary research.
Candidates should have, or expect to have, a 1st class or upper 2nd class Honours degree (or equivalent) in chemistry or a related discipline; applicants with English not as their 1st language should have IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each component.) or equivalent.
