Our Masters in Chiropractic (Paediatrics) gives you access to the latest relevant clinical knowledge – and the chance to help shape the future of patient care in your chosen field. Our tutors are leading specialists who will teach you how to identify the boundaries of safe practice and clinical parameters for patient referral.

In addition to regular teaching, you’ll also have access to a number of specialist subject advisers who can help with any issues that may arise. Teaching is divided between residential, face-to-face learning, in-practice learning and coursework.

Course duration and structure

You will study for the MSc Chiropractic (Paediatrics) degree using mixed mode learning over three years.

The first and second years involve practical learning, delivered via a series of dedicated modules. You will also attend two residential schools in each year (usually held in March and October). In the third year you are required to complete a Masters Research dissertation, under the guidance of a supervisor.

Our practical approach gives you the opportunity to apply your learning to daily practice routines, using clinical case problem solving based on data gleaned from real patients. It also ensures that you will cover the full range of common symptoms affecting each body system.

Module Details

Our MSc Chiropractic (Paediatrics) degree is a three-year course. In the first and second year you’ll complete practice-based studies, and also attend two residential schools per year.

In the third year, you’ll complete an OSCE examination based on what you’ve learned, along with a Masters Research dissertation – supported by a dedicated research supervisor.

During the three years of study, you’ll see an increasing number of paediatric patients in private practice. These patients will provide you with invaluable clinical experience and allow you to apply the skills you have acquired. You’ll also have access to a free online clinical advisory support service.
