The Clinical Nursing for International Students programme has been created for overseas qualified healthcare practitioners to acquire advanced understanding, knowledge and skills to deliver, manage, develop and research healthcare practice and education outside the UK. Optional 20 days of specially arranged clinical observation in the UK can be arranged at an additional cost of around £10,000.
Professional qualifications: Applicants must be qualified nurses or midwives accredited by their country’s governing body. Entry with a Bachelors degree: First degree, minimum 2:1 class honours or equivalent. Exceptionally other relevant qualifications and experience (including those without a first degree) can be considered. Entry via the Postgraduate route: Applicants who have already studied at a level equivalent to a UK masters programme will be assessed primarily on the basis of achievement at this level and would be expected to demonstrate a clear pass (55 or above).
