The course combines European and modernist work with an interdisciplinary framework of cultural theory and intellectual history; the course focuses on the variety of intellectual responses to modernity; students engage in modern debates across culture through a distinctive combination of study in philosophy and other disciplines in the arts and humanities.
Good Honours degree (minimum 2.1), or equivalent overseas qualification; plus satisfactory evidence of ability in English language if a non-native speaker.
