The programme is designed to for nurse and medical hysteroscopists, building on their experience of working with women by applying additional advance practice skills.
You will be able to build up your profile using independent studies that are based on operative training experience you may gain elsewhere through the RCOG and or industry study days. Full details will be provided on application.
Applicants should:
Be a registered practitioner on either the NMC (level one) or GMC register, and in current practice
Hold a degree or have evidence of recent study at a minimum of level 6
Be working in a gynaecology service, with agreed access to Outpatient Hysteroscopy clinics, and a BSGE trainer
Have approval from your line manager, and will need to complete a placement self-audit prior to an offer being made
Become a member of the BSGE upon entry to the module / programme

A copy of your highest qualification
A copy of either your passport or birth certificate
If you are applying for funding through Health Education Yorkshire and Humber you will also need to submit a SSPRD Funding Form
