This MSc programme based in the Department of Psychology has three streams: clinical psychology, social psychology and research methods. It is an exit route for those interested in research careers in the clinical psychology, voluntary/state sector, and it provides an excellent basis for entry to doctoral level degree programmes in psychology. In fact, in 2011 the University of Limerick achieved 5 stars by the rating QS agency for employability and innovation and knowledge transfer. Further, a large proportion of our 2010 MSc cohort (over 50%) were successful in getting PhD Scholarships. The University of Limerick is also in the Top 100 Young Universities of the World. (Times Higher Education, 2012)
