PGCE Secondary Drama (including School Direct) with QTS

  • DeadlineStudy Details:

    PGCE 1 year full-time

Course Description

Why study Secondary Drama with us?

During the course, you will learn how to encourage young people’s understanding and performance of Drama through your subject specialism.

The Subject Enrichment Week has included Amsterdam, Venice, Barcelona, and Prague. Trainees are given the opportunity to work with teachers, performers and academics from schools, theatres and university, as appropriate, during the course of the week. You will be encouraged to consider the historical and cultural context of the theatre and educational drama practice you engage with in comparison to that of the UK.

On your return to the UK, trainees have devised group or individual projects, which formed the basis for schemes of work and practical workshops delivered at partnership schools.
