The Postgraduate Certificate in Work Based Learning Facilitation offers practising facilitators of WBL the opportunity to extend their knowledge, reflect on their practice and gain the prestigious Fellowship of the HEA.
All participants who successfully complete the three modules of study are eligible for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. The three modules combined aim to address areas of activity from the UK Professional Standards Framework developed by the HEA, being underpinned by relevant core knowledge and professional values.
Students who fulfil the criteria and successfully complete the three modules will gain Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Applicants are expected to have a teaching load and facilitative role in work-based learning within higher education, and hold a first degree or equivalent experience.

This module is designed to equip a participant with a skill base which will allow them to deploy a range of facilitation, learning and assessing methodologies when supporting students. The concepts and models of facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment will underpin this module.
