Course Description

This programme will allow you to blend established global health and development approaches to tackle issues of contemporary international development and global health politics. Global health crises demand solutions that move beyond established public health responses. Our Development and Global Health MA programme will help you to contemplate more comprehensive solutions to the long-term developmental needs of local communities.

Student Destinations

This programme will prepare you for a broad range of careers but will specifically deliver the research skills and substantive knowledge required by NGOs, development organisations, national government departments and academic research roles. Previous graduates have gone onto undertake PhDs and further professional training as humanitarian doctors. They have also worked in an environmental waste management department, in consultancy, as traders and marketers and in management.
