Course Description

This PGDip Evidence-based Psychological Treatment course is designed to improve clinical knowledge in skills within psychological treatments which have been shown to be effective.

This course is run by the Charlie Waller Institute (CWI) and is aimed at mental health professionals from a range of professions – such as clinical psychologists, psychiatric nurses, social workers – who are incorporating psychological treatments into their work.

You will be learn through a combination of taught components, clinical skills masterclasses and supervision. The course is Level 1 accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and structured so that most of the criteria needed for personal accreditation are fulfilled.

Entry Requirements

Normally a relevant undergraduate degree, a postgraduate qualification within a mental health profession, and access to ongoing clinical cases with whom you would engage in therapeutic practice and discuss in supervision.
