MFin Master of Finance

  • DeadlineStudy Details:

    MFin 1 Year FT

Course Description

This one-year degree, taught within Judge Business School, offers students a rigorous training in the theory and practice of finance. The teaching draws on the highly successful pre-experience MPhil in Finance and on the globally recognised Cambridge MBA, as well as on Cambridge’s long heritage of teaching and research in Finance, Economics and Maths

Entry Requirements

A strong academic record at undergraduate level (high 2:1 but more likely a first, GPA equivalent 3.6). This could be in a finance, maths or engineering background, but we are also keen to hear from applicants with an arts undergraduate background;
At least 2 years successful work experience in finance (average is typically four years). Typically, the previous experience of our applicant pool focuses on the corporate banking or wholesale banking areas. However, within this the diversity of roles (e.g. sales, research, trading, risk) and asset class is diverse. Some come from central banks and development banks, but their aim is to learn more about corporate/wholesale banking.
