Course Description

Start dates: 1st October, 1st January, 1st April, 1st July.

Medical and Health Care Studies is available as a PhD, MPhil, and MSc by Research and is based around four key research themes: Biomarkers and Genes; Medical Technologies; Microbes and Immunity; Patient and Population Health and Informatics. These programmes are suitable for candidates whose research interests relate to these topics and who want to explore complex medical problems.

We also have strong links with the NHS and welcome applications from those with a clinical research interest in:

Entry Requirements

MSc by Research: Applicants for Msc by Research must normally hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level (or Non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University).
