Course Description

This course will allow you as a practising therapist to develop advanced clinical skills in the field of sports injury management. You will learn advanced assessment and diagnostic techniques with contemporary treatment and rehabilitation methods.

 

You will devise specialised return to play guidelines for athletes which are specific to their sport, level and position as well as viewing the outcome based measures that are available for injury.

 

Entry Requirements

  • you will need a 2.1 degree or equivalent in a clinical subject
  • you will be a qualified and practising therapist with professional body membership (physiotherapists, graduate sports therapists, graduate sports rehabilitators, chiropractors, podiatrists, osteopaths)
  • EU and international students need IELTS 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other band) or equivalent
