If you’re looking to develop your career, knowledge or experience in the sports industry, you may want to consider one of our management or sport science masters. They’re designed to develop skills in research, analysis and communication to put into practice, tailoring the course towards your own specific career ambitions.
Our courses have suitable facilities to support the learning on your course. You could be using our professional sport and exercise science facilities, including fully equipped British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) accredited physiology lab, marking it as one of the UK’s leading sport and exercise science facilities, psychology and biomechanics labs or our health and exercise gyms.
We also have a new sports complex, featuring two sports halls, two fitness studios, strength and conditioning and high-performance gyms, health and fitness and personal training teaching gyms, and a sport and exercise therapy clinic.
We’ll prepare you for a career in the sports industry by delivering hands-on professional skills.
The curriculum is underpinned by research informed teaching and the team are research active. Drawing on evidence from research, you’ll be able to shape practice and develop strategies, becoming an evidence informed practitioner. You may also have the opportunity to complete work-experience, taking place throughout the course so you can learn and apply your knowledge.
Our courses are designed in partnership with industry experts to help equip students with skills, experience and knowledge precisely tailored to industry requirements. We also use our industry links to deliver a guest speaker programme which has featured lectures from professionals from the highest level of a variety of sports, who have shared their advice, knowledge and experience of the industry.
We have several academic scholarships available which are rewarded based on your entry grades. We also offer a sport scholarship to those competing at national or international level in their sport.
