Study Details: PGCE 1 year full-time
With two placements in secondary schools in or near London, this specialist chemistry teaching qualification will prepare you for a fulfilling career with excellent prospects.
This one-year full-time course enables you to meet the national standards for the award of qualified teacher status (QTS). You will learn to operate as a critically reflective Chemistry teacher and develop competence across the entire range of the National Curriculum for Science.
We normally require a second-class honours degree 2:2 or above with at least 50% chemistry content supported by a strong A Level (or equivalent) We also accept the equivalency tests by Equivalency Testing, A Star Teachers or any other appropriately accredited provider.
