Combine your passions for health and education with our Higher Education Academy PG Cert focusing on simulation in medical and healthcare education. Equip yourself to become a leader of the future in this specialised field. Simulation-based education in health professions is growing. This PGCert will give you the opportunity to study those principles specific to teaching and learning using simulation, irrespective of the resources available. A broader holistic view of education, exploring curriculum design and the socio-cultural context of education, completes the programme.
Applicants will require a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree, or primary medical qualification. You must be registered practitioners with at least 2 years of post-registration experience in the field of health or social care and will be engaged in facilitating teaching and learning as part of your professional role.

Non-graduates with extensive relevant current practical and continuing professional development experience will be considered for entry to the course in accordance with the University regulations with guidance from the Pathway leader/Programme leader.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 7 (Academic level-) or equivalent such as an OET Score B or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
