Aimed at students looking to top-up a postgraduate HRM qualification with a research project and graduate with a Masters degree
The MSc in HRM (Blended) Top-up is a nine-month programme which aims to develop knowledge, competencies and professional skills that help learners address the challenges facing modern organisations. It is solely focused on the completion of a Masters dissertation, allowing you time to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise around research methods and your dissertation topic.

The programme underlines the importance of practice-based learning and research by enabling you to investigate an HR issue that is located in a real work situation.
Edinburgh Napier University has been supporting students to undertake the MSc in Human Resource Management (HRM) for over 25 years. During that time the University has received commendations of good practice from the UK professional body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), for their innovative and rigorous approach to design and delivery of the dissertation. The entry requirement for this course is a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or CIPD Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development.

The programme aims to develop a comprehensive range of skills including information retrieval, critical reading and writing, effective research strategies, analytical and evaluative techniques and communication in a research context. All of these skills serve to enhance credibility, confidence, professional competence, employability skills and help enhance career progress within the area of HRM.
