The overall aim of the programme is to provide students with a primarily scientific or engineering-based educational background with business skills relevant for pursuing managerial careers in internationally orientated manufacturing and service industries. The programme covers a broad range of managerial topics and gradually deepens the students’ knowledge of these. Particular emphasis is placed on topics of great relevance for technical university graduates, such as operations and supply chain management. Another key feature of the programme is its integrative teaching approach aimed at developing the ability of students to tackle managerial issues in an interdisciplinary manner.
