MSc PG Dip Managing Business Performance

  • DeadlineStudy Details:

    MSc, PG Dip Full-time 12 months, Part-time 24 months

Course Description

Over the last 20 years the field of business performance measurement has developed from business performance measurement, (i.e. what to measure, how to measure and how to report the results), to business performance management, (i.e. how to use the measures to manage the performance of the organisation). Throughout this period, several models and methodologies for performance measurement systems design and implementation have emerged.

Today the relevance of performance measurement in management of organisations’ results is widely accepted with performance measurement and performance management practices being commonplace in all sectors of industry and commerce, including the public sector. Consequently there appears to be increasing levels of demand for education programmes addressing this specific and growing area of interest.

This programme, whilst providing a dedicated pathway of Managing Business Performance that complements the existing postgraduate programmes with the School, aims to impart the contemporary knowledge and skills for measuring and managing performance of organisations, including industrial, commercial and public sector, from two differing but complementing lenses, i.e. the technical and the social.
