MSc Finance

  • DeadlineStudy Details:

MSc One year / two years with placement (September starters)

Course Description

Our MSc Finance degree provides you with an in-depth understanding of core financial concepts, theories and tools used in a wide variety of organisations worldwide. This course is designed for ambitious individuals who don’t necessarily have a background in finance but can evidence a good level of quantitative ability

Throughout the course you will immerse yourself in financial mathematics, model building, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. You will apply knowledge, tools and techniques to resolve issues in new and diverse situations within the finance disciplines, evaluate the rigour and validity of published research, and assess its relevance to the practice of finance.

In your third semester, you’ll choose an experiential project. With the opportunity to use your skills in a real-world setting, you can choose from completing a consultancy experience project, an in-company experience project, a business research project or a global experience project.

Created in collaboration with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), our modules are closely aligned with the institution’s own qualifications, which you can work towards upon completion of your degree.
