Many things rely on mechanical engineering – from mobile phones and biomedical devices, to aircraft and power plants. If you’re ready to take your engineering studies further, our MSc Mechanical Engineering degree course will give you the skills you need to advance your career.

On this course, you’ll develop an advanced understanding of core mechanical engineering disciplines, including design and critical evaluation of structural integrity, computation fluid dynamics, advanced materials, energy and control systems. You’ll also pick up valuable transferable skills in creative thinking, critical analysis and team working.

You’ll plan and produce a personal research project, and we’ll provide the expertise and support so you can develop your professional practice. Once you graduate, you’ll have all the tools you need for a career as a mechanical engineer.
